Hamleys

We had a nice weekend out. We took the kids to Hamleys in London, the largest toy store in UK, it was seven stories high. Then we took Lani around to see all the sights. It was nice. Lani was moody but I suppose that is the life of a nine year old these days. I have been enjoying the spa. I went yesterday and did not even work out, I just sat poolside reading my book. Lynne, did you find that book I suggested. I just finished. I loved it, mom says shes having a hard time getting into it. Lani is doing division in math. Firas works with her every night. Lots of tears. Funny cuz I remember a couple of years ago when he would help me with statistics and I would sit there and cry. Gosh that's been six years ago. I just went to check on Maya and she is smashing salt and vinegar chips in her mouth...all over her face. Firas would be proud. She is cutting teeth and is quite miserable. Adam is picking up English terms from TV. He said yesterday he wanted to go out to play in the garden. We talk everyday about putting him in school but we are not sure what is going on with Firas' job. More than likely we will be moving to Waybridge somtime after April. We are hoping to hold out the move til Lani finishes in July. Who knows....I have to go clean up Maya..she looks a bit oily. Miss you all to much.

  1. Hey girlfriend,
I finally got my computer back. Guess what the hard drive is going? So where is Waybridge? Not much new here. I am trying to work, but the one day I tooka job on Monday, I got sick and had to cancel. Today, Weds, it snowed 6-8 in. and they cancelled school. I was scheduled to work of course. Friday I am scheduled too. My mom is here to visit her sister in Michigan. She is doing well in the cold weahter. She comes back to my house tomorrow and my sister and her husband are taking her home on Feb. 7th. I am so bored too. Wish you were to hang with. No I couldn't get the book at the library. I have the info to order on Amazon. I am reading another book about Afganistan called The Storyteller's Daughter It is good. I haven't seen the pictures yet you had sent. I am being very careful what I do on the computer so it doesn't crash. Can't afford a new one right now. Your kids sound good. Nick and I fight over multiplcation also. He just can't stop counting on his fingers and must memorize it. WEll gotta go, Jacob is screaming. Love ya and miss you lots. Lynne
